Andrea King in HD: “Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid” coming to Blu-ray in July!
Although it hasn’t been released on DVD in the United States yet, Universal’s “Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid” is swimming to the surface on Blu-ray Disc via Olive Films on July 8, 2014!
Andrea King gives a delightful performance as nightclub singer Cathy Livingston, who tries to woo Mr. Peabody (William Powell) as he struggles with midlife crisis and the notion that a mermaid (Ann Blyth) has fallen in love with him.
You can find a very good advance review of this release on DVDbeaver.com. No special features, but the audio and video quality (check out the terrific screen captures) seem to be excellent!
Happy shopping!
Hello, We were wondering if you have a dvd of Outlaw Queen? Is there any way this film can be viewed today? We would be happy to purchase a copy of it if you have one for our own private viewing, or maybe you could show it online? Would surely love to know what became of it? Thanks so very much for your time!
Sincerely,
Cheryl Monteiro
Hi Cheryl! Thank you for writing, and for your question. I have not seen Outlaw Queen available on DVD, or any other viewing format, and I’ve looked for years. There was a Western website that had the trailer for it, but the site and the link are gone now, sadly. I wish I had at least figured out how to save a copy of the trailer. One day, hopefully, the film will surface! If it does, I will definitely post information about it here.
All the best,
Paul
Hello
As anyone ever seen SILENT FEAR (1956)? it was shot in Mexico. The film seems to have disappeared though there is a copy at UCLA
I have not seen it, no. And I’ve searched over the years for a copy. Good to know there is a print of it at UCLA. Thanks for sharing that information!
